Culture & Communication

Today’s globalized world has created challenges for executives to lead successfully. Culture and communication barriers impact a leader’s ability to lead successfully. Misunderstandings based on cultural and communication differences present one of the greatest obstacles to productive cross-border collaboration within multinational organizations, clients, and suppliers. Leaders working with colleagues from other cultures or heading multicultural teams may find themselves confused by their own apparent ineffectiveness and confused by the reactions of others. You must understand the differences in communication, organizational hierarchy, and etiquette.
